Semester Project & Assignments:

Course Description:

This is the final course in your design studio sequence.  In this studio, you will be asked to apply previously acquired skills in an independently focused design exploration under the guidance and criticism of your studio advisors.  Students will determine their focus of study, identify contemporary precedents or models, program the necessary spaces, and develop an appropriate design solution.

Course Goals:

Because this is the conclusion of the interior design studio sequence at the New England School of Art and Design, the Senior Studio project must satisfactorily represent the goals and objectives of the program.  In the development and execution of their designs, students must demonstrate an understanding and mastery of the skills expected of a professional designer.
